I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon to an American mother and Australian father. My father made it a priority to pass down Australian traditions to both my brother and I. We grew up regularly traveling between countries, eating vegemite sandwiches and playing cricket in the backyard. Ten years ago I moved to Sydney and five years ago I followed in my mother’s footsteps not only marrying an Aussie, but my best friend.
We have two children, our daughter Elsie (2 in August) and son Taylor (born in January). Taylor is the happiest baby and loves to giggle. Elsie is the strongest most independent little girl and loves reading and playing mom to her dolls. She is an incredible big sister and her love for Taylor is beautiful. My kids are my world. They bring so much joy into our lives and teach us so much about ourselves.
My husband has the most incredible family. He is the oldest boy of 10 children and has both a brother with downs syndrome and an adopted sister with downs syndrome. They all love the arts and either dance, act, sing, or play a musical instrument. Jordan is an amazing husband and father. He believes anything is possible proving this by building one of the fastest growing financial planning firms in Australia from the ground up.
Our family loves traveling and believe seeing the world opens up your eyes, makes you appreciate what you have, and lets you experience the beauty of the world. With an ocean separating our families we travel back and forth from Australia to the US often to visit. In fact, my daughter had been on over 10 domestic and international flight before she was even 18 months old.
