1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Our time on Earth is limited and precious. I want each day that I have to count. I try to give my best in all areas of my life, from educating students, to my marriage of almost twenty years, to being the best mother I can for my son. I want to leave my impact on this world and leave it a little better.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
A morning run with my husband is my favorite way to start my day. A trip to New York City with my family would follow where we would visit the Cloisters, experience the architecture of Europe, on our way to cheering on the Yankees. To make the night complete, my husband and I would dance at an Argentine tango milonga.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
As an educator, I have the privilege of being a role model. My students are told they should be able to look in the mirror and know that they’ve done their best. I hold myself to that same standard by being a woman of my word, and treating people with the respect that I want to be treated. In this world of uncertainty, being someone that people can count on makes a difference.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
The first Christmas my family bought and moved into our own home, my husband surprised me with a vintage red velvet backed changing screen with a hand painted design, from an old New York City theatre. I treasure having a piece of history from old New York in my home.
